Listen to yourself. You can tune-in to yourself better, when you stop, pause and pay attention to yourself. When you hear yourself saying: "I should be.... I want to be... I wish I could...." it's time to listen.
It's you trying to reach you to turn off auto-pilot and engage.
Turn off the auto-pilot and engage for real. Sometimes when the auto-pilot is on, we flying through the turbulence with a flight plan, but no real engagement. In health terms, this might mean you are saying to yourself, "I want to get healthy," and your auto-pilot flight path might still be sitting down for 4 slices of pizza.
Turning the auto-pilot off might also mean less posting on social media. It's fun to post that picture of the pizza you made or the cookies you baked, but in the background if you ate the whole pizza and the dozen cookies over the course of a day or two, it's not so much fun for your longevity.
