Day 4: Healthiest Best You-Daily Tip & Resource

Today's Healthiest Best You Daily Tip/Resource/Check-In

Daily Tip

Let's touch base with your current levels of well-being and fitness. In my experience, gained through guiding people on wellness adventures over the years, a number of themes have emerged. One of the most common things said to me is, "Well, I used to...."

It's is important to acknowledge all you used to do, particularly in high school, college, or beyond and realize, if this level of well-being and fitness honestly applies to you currently.

I've heard a number of 40-60 year-old people starting to regain their health and say, "Well, in high school I used to.... or well in my 30s I used to... etc..."

Take an honest look at what you are capable of right now and in this moment. It's ok if you have changed. The question is: What are you capable of now? If it isn't all that you used to be, what is your true now? What are you expecting of yourself?

Daily Resource:

You are your resource today. As a journal exercise, consider writing for 15 minutes about the topic of self-confidence:

Self-Confidence to me is ______________________________.

I am most self-confident when __________________________.

I am least self-confident when:___________________________.

Daily Check-In:

Have you either walked a mile today or exercised for 20 minutes?

How much water are you drinking?

What are you eating? How much are you eating?
