Peace
What does it mean to us in light of today’s election?
What could it mean?
Imagine if we all committed to a peaceful response, regardless of the outcome. What if each of us pledged to practice compassion and unconditional kindness, not only with our neighbors but with everyone in our community?
What if we all agreed to stay calm, hold space for peace, and cultivate hope?
Let’s go further—what if we each practiced a random act of kindness toward someone, regardless of how they voted?
Let’s teach our children, and remind each other, that our country’s name is UNITED.
Journaling is a great way to increase your peace, especially to help with feelings of fear and uncertainty.
Here are some prompts for peace:
What does peace mean to me, and how can I invite more of it into my daily life?
When do I feel the most at peace, and how can I recreate those moments regularly?
What situations or thoughts disturb my inner peace, and how can I manage or release them?
How can I create a peaceful environment in my home or workspace?
What steps can I take to forgive myself or others and release any lingering resentment or tension?
How can I bring more mindfulness and calm into my daily routine, even during stressful times?
What are the activities, people, or places that help me feel grounded and at ease?
In what ways can I contribute to cultivating peace in my relationships and community?
What fears or anxieties am I holding onto, and how can I gently let them go to create more space for peace?
How can I practice self-compassion and kindness towards myself in moments of stress or uncertainty?
Peace to everyone.

💗 This post is spot on. It says exactly what I've been thinking over the past month.
There is so much fear about the results of this election and what will happen over the next 4 years. We need to remember to stay grounded. BREATHE. Find our center. Express our gratitude in the moment. Find peace and extend it where we can.
Like a stone thrown into the pond, the actions start with "Me" and have a ripple effect.
Hugs to all who read this. You've got this. Be the "stone".
